Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the report include?
Page count and per-page dimensions, PDF version, encryption status, font inventory with embedding info, image count, and object-level statistics.
Does the analyzer produce a file?
No — it's read-only. The findings appear as a report on the page; your original file is never modified.
Can it tell me why my PDF is so large?
Yes, directionally — a large image count or many embedded font programs are the usual suspects, and both show in the report.
Does it detect malware?
No — it inspects structure, not threat signatures. Treat it as an X-ray, not an antivirus. For untrusted files, use a real scanner.
Can I analyze encrypted PDFs?
The report shows encryption status and metadata visible without the password. Deep analysis needs the unlocked file.
Is my document uploaded for analysis?
No. Parsing runs entirely in your browser.
