Is my file uploaded to a server?
Yes. Rendering spreadsheets faithfully needs LibreOffice on our server, so XLS/XLSX files are processed there and deleted as soon as you download — one hour at the latest. Everything else on AmiPDF that doesn't need a document engine runs in your browser.
Which Excel formats are supported?
Modern .xlsx files and legacy .xls files, up to 50 MB per file. Password-protected workbooks are not supported — remove the password first, then convert.
Will all sheets be included?
Yes, every sheet is rendered in order. Very wide sheets follow the print layout rules stored in the file; if a sheet has no print settings, columns may split across PDF pages, just like printing from Excel.
Do formulas survive?
The PDF shows the calculated results — exactly what you see in Excel. Formulas themselves are not carried into the PDF, because a PDF is not a spreadsheet.
How do I keep a wide sheet on one page?
Set the print area and page orientation in Excel before converting — the converter honors the workbook's own print settings, including landscape orientation and fit-to-page scaling. Without print settings, wide sheets split across pages like a default printout.
Is it free? Is there a limit?
