Frequently asked questions
Can I convert a URL or live web page?
Yes — use our dedicated URL to PDF tool: paste the link and the live page is rendered to PDF. This tool keeps working with HTML files and pasted source code.
Do CSS styles and images work?
Yes. Pages are rendered by a real Chromium browser, so CSS layout, inline images, and web fonts are applied. Externally linked images and stylesheets are fetched too — resources that cannot be loaded within a few seconds are skipped.
What happens to my HTML file?
It is uploaded to our server for rendering and deleted immediately after the PDF is produced — with a one-hour backup cleanup in any failure case. This is a server-processed tool, unlike our fully local tools.
Which page size is used?
A4 portrait with default margins, using the browser's standard print layout. Pages with their own print CSS (@page rules) are respected where possible.
Why was my file rejected?
Files over 10 MB are rejected, and HTML that references internal or reserved network addresses is blocked for security. Remove such references and try again.
Is JavaScript in the page executed?
Rendering uses a short virtual-time budget, so simple scripts that build content quickly are included; long-running scripts are cut off when the budget expires.
