Can I edit the text on the slides?
No. Each slide is a high-resolution image of the page, which is why layouts and fonts always look exactly right. If you need editable text, use our PDF to Word tool instead.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
Yes. Building a PPTX needs a conversion engine, so the PDF is processed on our server and deleted automatically as soon as you download — one hour at the latest. Browser tools on AmiPDF never upload.
What aspect ratio will the slides be?
The presentation matches the proportions of your first PDF page — landscape PDFs get widescreen slides, portrait PDFs get tall slides, and every page fits without cropping.
Does it work with scanned PDFs?
Yes, scans work exactly like any other PDF — pages are captured as images either way. No extra time or OCR needed.
Can I reorder or add slides afterwards?
Yes — that is the point of having a PPTX. Reorder slides, insert new ones between pages, and annotate on top in any presentation app; the page images keep their original clarity.
